As the Christmas season ends and the new year approaches the infamous task of creating New Year’s resolutions appears. There’s just something about the new year that brings forth a sense of rejuvination and rebirth. It’s our chance to detox ourselves physically and emotionally. Whether its trying to loose weight, better your relationships, or better yourself overall the new year is the quintessential time for that. It’s hard not to get into the hype of it all. Most importantly, its often difficult to maintain these resolutions. That’s why its critical to plan ahead and make realistic goals for the new year. One of my personal resolutions is to lose some weight. Declaring my goals makes me feel more accountable. I will probably share my progress as time go on. That is why the days before the New Year are so important to make an action plan that will lead you to your goals. Whatever your New Year’s resolutions are make sure that you understand that you don’t have to wait for New Years to change your life. Every day is a new opportunity to make a difference in your life.
