This Sunday I wanted to share something spiritual. This post was inspired by the Jekalyn Carr song “They Said, But God Said.” I stumbled upon this song while listening to my YouTube gospel mix.
Be sure to check it out.
The lyrics touch on the fact that people always have an opinion about you.Good or bad.
However, God always has a positive perspective on your situation. The bible says in Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
This just shows that God wants the best for you. He is the only one that you should be listening to. He sees your future despite what the enemy may bring.
I haven’t ever officially shared my personal testimony, but two years ago I was in a hospital bed with no hope. Doctors said that I would never make it out the same.
But GOD SAID, I was destined for greatness. GOD SAID, I was going to come out healed.
GOD SAID, I would get into college after missing school for months.
GOD SAID, I would be valedictorian.
GOD SAID, I would get into my major.
GOD SAID, I would get my internship this summer.
There are so many testimonies that have come about from what “GOD Said”. When you truly listen to his commandments and obey, the world’s expectations of who you are will not even matter.
Like the song says: “You are a chosen one.”
I recommend that you tune out the negativity of people and the world around you. When you start seeing things as what God says spiritually, you will truly have a changed life.
Remember, what God says about you is the only thing that matters. He loves you unconditionally and thinks you are one of a kind.
That’s all I have for today.
